今日はこなつママが横浜元町の歯医者に治療に行く日。
Today is the day my wife goes to a dentist in Motomachi, Yokohama for treatment.
いつも鎌倉の田舎で暮らし、仕事先もどちらかと言えば下町の板橋だったり群馬だったりするので、ママを送りながら横浜の空気を吸いに来た。
I always live in the countryside of Kamakura, and my place of work is rather downtown Itabashi or Gunma, so I came to breathe the air of Yokohama while waiting for my wife.
明日からこの町のセールが始まるらしく、今日はまだ閑散としている。
It’s just before the sale of this town starts tomorrow, so it’s still quiet today.
ママの治療が終わるまでには1時間以上あるので、こなつとこの辺りを散歩することにした。歩き始めると尻尾を垂らしながらも頑張って歩いていた。
It takes more than an hour to finish my wife’s treatment, so I decided to take a walk around here with Konatsu.
商店街を歩くのは無理だろうから裏道を通って元町公園に向かった。
This is Motomachi Park.
ここならこなつもゆっくり歩くことが出来る。
Konatsu can walk here without fear.
元町公園を抜け、港の見える丘公園側に出るとキレイな街並みになる。
After passing through Motomachi Park and going out to the hill park side, you will see a townscape full of exoticism.
ここは若い頃に良く行った山手十番館。おそらく今でもデートスポットなのだろうと思うけど、学生時代や社会人になってすぐの頃に何度も行ったレストラン。
This is the Yamate Jubankan, which I used to go to when I was in my twenties. Perhaps this restaurant is still a popular date spot.
その向かいにあるのが外人墓地。
Opposite that is the Yokohama Foreign Cemetery.
歩き始めて約1時間、そろそろ戻ろうか？
About an hour after we started walking, should we come back soon?
車に戻り、こなつはやれやれという表情かな？ 今日は意外と暑くて汗をかくほどでした。しばらくするとママから治療が終わったと電話が入ったので、近くでランチしようということになり、、、

私は冷やし山菜蕎麦、大盛り。
I ordered edible wild plants soba
ママはランチセットの、しのだ丼セット。
My wife ordered a lunch set of soba and rice bowl.
