Well, it’s the long-awaited dinner. I booked a Japanese course at the Harvest restaurant on that day. I will line up the photos at once without commentary.
As I learned at night when I arrived here, it seems that there was a terrible thunderstorm in the Kanto region. The Amagi Plateau has been sunny all the time, and in the evening it’s cool and comfortable.
ワンワンロッジには二組しか宿泊客がおらず、おこもりにはピッタリでした。
There were only two groups of guests at Doggy Lodge, which was perfect for the occasion.
こなつは「勝手知ったる」みたいに動き回っていた。そしてすぐに夕方の散歩の時間です。
Konatsu was moving around like “my home that I knew without permission”. And soon it’s time for an evening walk.

ここでの散歩の楽しさはすぐ間近で鹿に会えること。襲ってきたりしないから安心です。

ここは民家の庭先で、暖炉用の薪を積んである所にまで鹿が入り込んでいた。

この日は行く先々で鹿に遭遇し、その都度こなつは近寄りたがるので抑えるのが大変だった。

この日はここに来る途中、修善寺の「武士(たけし)の鯵寿司」でお弁当を買ってきました。

In front of Enoshima station just after leaving the house. It was also an early summer atmosphere, and there were many people. From here, take the Ken-O Expressway to the Kan-Etsu Expressway to Karuizawa.

今回は東急ハーヴェストクラブ軽井沢に二泊します。
This time we will stay at Tokyu Harvest Club Karuizawa for two nights.
チェックインして一休みしたら夕飯の時間。
After checking in and taking a rest, it’s time for dinner.
This time we will stay overnight at Lake Hamana and the next day we will visit my wife’s family temple in Kikugawa. Tokyu Harvest Club Hamanako is just off the Mikkabi IC on the Tomei Expressway.
There are 3 rooms where you can stay with your pet, and 2 groups including us stayed on that day. Each room has its own small dog park, from which we can enter and exit the room so we don’t even meet other guests.
浜松と言えばウナギ。老舗あつみのお弁当を買ってきました。
Speaking of Hamamatsu, eel farming is famous. We bought a long-established Atsumi eel dinner box.

浜名湖の周囲を散歩です。
It is a walk around Lake Hamanako.
ハーヴェストの敷地内で黒ヤギの子供が飼育されていて、こなつと黒ヤギはお互いに興味津々。

This is Fujieda’s Chorakuji Temple, and the founder of this Chorakuji Temple is a high priest who was moved from Kamakura Jochiji Temple 800 years ago. That’s why the priest here and I somehow feel a connection and go well together. After this, today’s main event, we will visit Konatsu’s hometown.
Konatsu remembered this place, and when parent’s house was near, she started making a fuss in the car, and when she arrived, she was waving his tail in front of the entrance.
In this way, it was only about 30 minutes homecoming, but we were able to have a good time. After this, I headed to Hamamatsu and stayed overnight at Tokyu Harvest Club Hamanako, and I will continue tomorrow.

Last year, when I went on a trip, there was a Regina Resort blog contest, so I applied for it. With that announcement, Konatsu’s blog won the Grand Prix!
I received a pair accommodation voucher for the supplementary prize. I did it! The fun memories of that time have revived, so I picked up a few photos.
Here at Regina Mikage Irrigation, the food is delicious, the staff feel good, and I would like to come back again. However, the next one is Kamogawa, which is a supplementary prize (lol)
If you’re a Beatles fan, this is a very exciting shop. Beatles songs are played all day long in the store and on the terrace, so you won’t get bored no matter how many hours you stay.

This is a renovated old folk house, and you can bring your dog inside the store. Konatsu was welcomed as “cute!” And even had a chair for Konatsu prepared. (lol)
なんとなく食べ足りない私たちはこのあとショーゾーカフェに行きティータイム。
Somehow we couldn’t eat enough, so we went to Shozo Cafe and had tea time.
When I looked at the road information in the morning, there was an accident near Hachioji on the Ken-O Expressway and there was a traffic jam to Sagamihara, so I headed for the Tohoku Expressway via the Metropolitan Expressway, and this is Kamikawachi SA on the Tohoku Expressway. The store is full of various Utsunomiya dumplings! It takes a little over an hour from here to Nasu.
我が家からだと那須は軽井沢よりやや遠くて、片道3時間半くらいかかります。
From my home, Nasu is a little farther than Karuizawa, and it takes about three and a half hours one way.
On this day, I decided to go to the dog park in Iizunayama Park, which I missed the day before. It’s about 10km away from our place of stay, but it’s a rural road so I can drive for 15 minutes.
The picture above is what I tasted. Local “Komagatake (Masuru Shinshu Distillery)” This is smoky and very delicious. When I looked into Mars Whiskey, it was Kiichiro Iwai, the creator of Mars Whiskey, who sent Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whiskey, to Scotland. Mars whiskey was born based on the research report in Scotland, and it seems to be today. Among them, “Komagatake Rindo”, which has been discontinued, is said to be a phantom whiskey and is difficult to obtain. I was able to drink only one cup here last fall, which was unbearably delicious.
I went to bed on this day when I got tipsy in a good mood. The next morning is already the last day. On the last day, I always buy fresh vegetables at “Tsuruya”. The usual pattern is to buy as much as I can in the car.

As soon as I arrived at Regina Resort Karuizawa and took a rest, it was time for an evening walk. I wanted to walk along the riverside path in front of me the next morning, so I headed to Iizunayama Park in Komoro this evening.

公園の入り口には小諸高原美術館があり、興味あったけどこの日は休館日で残念。
There is the Komoro-kogen Museum at the entrance of the park, and I was interested, but I am sorry that this day is closed.
One part of the park is the ruins of Fujimi Castle, which was built in the 1500s. And I came here for the purpose because there is a dog park in this park, but it seems that I can not reach the dog run unless I enter from another entrance. I couldn’t help it, so I decided to come back tomorrow and walk around here on this day.
そして、楽しみにしていた夕飯の時間です。

The usual Tokyu Harvest Club Hakone Koshien, where I just went to a hot spring, ate dinner and went to bed, and didn’t go anywhere except for a walk with Konatsu.
夕飯もルームサービスのお弁当にしたので1日目は殆ど部屋で過ごしていました。
We used room service Bento box for dinner, so we spent most of the first day in the room.
On the second day, we checked out early and had breakfast at the “Bakery & Table Hakone” cafe on the shores of Lake Ashi.
それほどお腹も空いてなかったのでコーヒーとクロワッサンだけの朝食。10:00になればテラス席がオープンするのでこなつを一緒に連れていけるけど、このときは9:30だったので私たち二人だけでした。 I wasn’t so hungry so I had breakfast with coffee and croissants only. The terrace seats will open at 10:00, so we can take Konatsu with us, but at this time it was 9:30, so we were the only ones.
ここから富士五湖自動車道～中央高速を走り、長坂からは一般道で軽井沢に向かいます。
From here, take the Fuji Five Lakes Expressway-Chuo Expressway, and from Nagasaka, take a general road to Karuizawa.
途中、中央高速の双葉SAで休憩したときにこんなのを発見。

中で食事もできるので寒い時期の犬連れ旅には有難い。
This is a free rest area where you can bring your pets, and you can eat inside, so it’s great for traveling with dogs in cold weather.
ここは清里を過ぎた辺り。この日は快晴で、八ヶ岳がキレイに見えました。

そして、箱根から休憩含めると約４時間でレジーナリゾート御影用水に到着。

To my surprise, Konatsu began to scream just before arriving here. Did she remember here when she came only once last fall? Konatsu may have some fun memories, but even so, I was impressed with her great memory.

This is one of the Japanese traditional cooking techniques. It’s typically used for decorations using daikon radish. A crunchy texture in the mouth enhances the taste of sashimi.

For the past four days, I have been staying at the Tokyu Harvest Club in Amagi Kogen. It may be said to be unscrupulous even though the state of emergency has not been lifted, but since I spend most of my time in the room, I will not bring in COVID-19 or get infected.
This time it was a great campaign that I can stay up to 5 consecutive nights with a ticket for 1 night, so my wife and I went out in 3 nights and 4 days. One of the purposes is to get rid of my accumulated work here.
This is the room this time, and all the pet-friendly rooms in Amagi are maisonette type. However, in the Japanese-style room on the 2nd floor, Konatsu seems to damage the tatami mats, so I spend most of my time on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor is a luggage storage area (lol)
On the day of departure, I went out after my work was finished, so I stopped by the Mishima Sakuraya on the way to buy a take-out eel lunch box, and as soon as I arrived at Harvest, I had dinner.
You can see such a magnificent view from the hot spring public bath on the 8th floor. Since this place is on the Izu Peninsula, you can see Suruga Bay on the left side of Mt. Fuji and Sagami Bay on the right side.
朝食には美味しいパンを食べたかったので八幡野のル・フィヤージュに行った。
We wanted to eat delicious bread for breakfast, so we went to Le Feuillage in Yawatano.
I went back to my room and worked until the evening, and when I looked out the window, I saw a flock of deer. It’s time for Konatsu to take a walk, so I decided to follow the deer.

First of all, Kumoba Pond, a popular spot in Karuizawa during this period. I was hoping that the autumn leaves would be in full bloom,,, Agh! the autumn leaves were over and the leaves have almost fallen.

観光客はそれほど多くなかったので、こなつはビビることなく笑顔。

その後、碓氷峠の山頂にある蕎麦屋「しげの屋」に行った。
After that, we went to the soba restaurant “Shigenoya” on the summit of Usui Pass.
This shop was on the border of the prefecture, and a red line was drawn on the border. The front legs of Konatsu are located in Gunma prefecture, and the rear legs are located in Nagano prefecture.
店内もこうなっていて話題性は十分ですね。テラス席はワンコOKです。
The inside of the store is like this, and the topicality is enough. Dogs are welcome on the terrace.
Furthermore, the Kumano Shrine opposite the Shigenoya is built so that the center of the stairs is the prefectural border. It’s a power spot that was introduced on TV “The World Unknown To Matsuko”. After a meal, buy a book at Karuizawa Bookstore and spend the afternoon relaxing as a reading time.
It’s dinner time. I thought it would be nice to have too many pictures of the food, so I put them together in one sheet, but the food on that day was also very delicious! What made me happy was that after that, my wife and daughter went out to the bar lounge and had a good time. Of course, with Konatsu.
The reason Konatsu looked happy yesterday was because the whole family was on their way to a trip. This time we will stay at “Regina Resort Mikage Irrigation” in Karuizawa for the first time.
On the way, we had lunch at the roadside station Kanra near Takasaki. Kanra is a sister city of Piedmont, Tuscany, Italy, and you can eat authentic delicious pizza at the roadside station.

Even though it was a weekday, there were a lot of tourists in Hakone on that day, and I wonder if this is also the effect of the campaign. ※ The campaign is government-supported for economic recovery under the influence of Covid19.
