おこもり連泊の続き

今回の旅行は目的がおこもりなので殆ど外出することもなく、食事 → 散歩 → 食事 の繰り返しだから食べ物の話題ばかりになってしまいます。
この日はランチにも行かずにルームサービスを頼むことにした。

Since the purpose of this trip is staying in hotel, we rarely go out, and we repeat meals → walks → meals. That’s why it’s all about food. We decided to ask for room service instead of going to lunch on that day.

私はカレーライス

こなつママはハンバーグサンド。　私のは普通のカレーで可もなく不可もなく、ママのは美味しかったそうです。

この後はまたしばらく仕事をすると夕方の散歩の時間になり､､､
After working for a while, it was time for an evening walk …

ドッグランへ行き、こなつは元気よく走り回った。

3日目の夕飯はホテルのレストランで美味しい食事を食べようと予約をし、これが本日のメインイベントとなった。

For dinner on the third day, I made a reservation to eat a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant, and this was today’s main event.

ちょっと奮発して、和食のコースにしました。

We splurged on course Japanese cuisine.

突き出し三品、やや薄味で品の良い味付けになっていたのでこの先出てくるものへの期待が脹らむ。

Appetizer : The taste was a little light and the seasoning was good, so expectations for what will come out after this will increase.

We say “Shinjo” in Japanese, but I can’t explain well in English.

お造り、伊豆ですから魚が美味しいのはもちろんですが、感心させられたのは刺身のツマ

Sashimi.　Of course the fish is delicious because we are in Izu, but what impressed me was the sashimi garnish.

桂むきした大根をスライスしてあるのですが、口の中でシャリシャリと崩れていく食感が刺身の美味しさを更に引き立てる感じ。

 This is one of the Japanese traditional cooking techniques. It’s typically used for decorations using daikon radish. A crunchy texture in the mouth enhances the taste of sashimi.

もちろんお酒もどんどん進み、上はワイン、下は日本酒

そうするうちに、お釜から湯気が上りご飯が炊き上がったようだ。

In the meantime, it seems that steam has risen from the pot and the rice has been cooked.

生桜エビの炊き込みご飯です！　　私もママも大満足

This is rice cooked with raw sakura shrimp.　　We were very satisfied !

デザート　　苺とアイスクリームに豆乳ソースがかかっていてこれも美味しい。
Dessert: Strawberries and ice cream with soy milk sauce, which is also delicious.

こうしてあっという間に4日間が終わり、、、

最後は小鹿に見送られて帰路に就きました。

At the end we were sent off by the fawn and went home.

おこもり連泊

天城高原の山奥におこもり連泊してきました。緊急事態宣言が解除されない中なのに不謹慎と言われるかもしれないけど、ほぼ完全におこもり状態ですから、コロナ持ち込みも感染も無いでしょう。

For the past four days, I have been staying at the Tokyu Harvest Club in Amagi Kogen. It may be said to be unscrupulous even though the state of emergency has not been lifted, but since I spend most of my time in the room, I will not bring in COVID-19 or get infected.

今回は、東急ハーベスト天城高原です。おこもり連泊キャンペーンというのを見つけました。１泊分のチケットで最大５連泊まで可能というお得なキャンペーンだったので私たちは３泊４日で出かけました。私の溜まっている仕事をここで片付けようというのも目的の一つ。

This time it was a great campaign that I can stay up to 5 consecutive nights with a ticket for 1 night, so my wife and I went out in 3 nights and 4 days. One of the purposes is to get rid of my accumulated work here.

これが今回の部屋で、天城のペット対応ルームは全室メゾネットタイプです。ただ、２Fの和室はこなつが畳を傷つけちゃいそうだから殆ど１Fで過ごすことになります。２Fは荷物置き場だね (笑)

This is the room this time, and all the pet-friendly rooms in Amagi are maisonette type. However, in the Japanese-style room on the 2nd floor, Konatsu seems to damage the tatami mats, so I spend most of my time on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor is a luggage storage area (lol)

出発当日は私の仕事が終わってから出掛けたので途中で三島・桜家に寄ってテイクアウトのうなぎ弁当を買い、ハーベストに着いたらすぐに夕食です。

On the day of departure, I went out after my work was finished, so I stopped by the Mishima Sakuraya on the way to buy a take-out eel lunch box, and as soon as I arrived at Harvest, I had dinner.

翌朝はもの凄い強風が吹き荒れていました。ここには広いドッグランがあるのでこなつは気分良さそうに走り回っています。

The next morning there was a tremendous strong wind. There is a wide dog run here, so Konatsu runs around comfortably.

ここからはこんな富士山を見ることが出来ます。

８Fの温泉大浴場からはこんな絶景が見られます。ここは伊豆半島ですから富士山の左側に駿河湾、右側には相模湾が見えています。銭湯によくある壁の富士山の絵が本物で楽しめるというワケ。

You can see such a magnificent view from the hot spring public bath on the 8th floor. Since this place is on the Izu Peninsula, you can see Suruga Bay on the left side of Mt. Fuji and Sagami Bay on the right side.

朝食には美味しいパンを食べたかったので八幡野のル・フィヤージュに行った。

We wanted to eat delicious bread for breakfast, so we went to Le Feuillage in Yawatano.

部屋に戻って夕方まで仕事して、窓の外を見ると鹿の姿が見えた。ちょうどこなつの散歩の時間だし鹿の後を追ってみることにした。

I went back to my room and worked until the evening, and when I looked out the window, I saw a flock of deer. It’s time for Konatsu to take a walk, so I decided to follow the deer.

こなつは鹿の匂いを追って猛ダッシュ！

よくやく追いついた。

We caught up well.

こなつは「いたよ！」と言うかのように嬉しそうな顔して私の方を振り返った。

注意深くゆっくりゆっくり近寄ってみたが鹿はこっちの様子を窺うように見ているが動く気配はない。こんな写真が撮れた！

We approached carefully, slowly and slowly, but the deer looked at us, but there was no sign of movement. So I took this picture!

そのあと、我慢しきれなくなったこなつが吠えたので鹿の群れは走り去ってしまいました。

これは修善寺名物「武士(たけし)の鰺寿司」。とても美味しいのですが修善寺駅に行かないと買えません。

This is Shuzenji’s specialty “Takeshi horse mackerel sushi”. It’s very delicious, but you can’t buy it unless you go to Shuzenji Station.

お酒のつまみは、牛筋のトマトソース煮（上）、砂肝とポテトのコンフィ（中）、ニンジンのサラダ（下）。　なかなか楽しいおこもり生活です。　

The liquor snacks are beef tendon boiled in tomato sauce (top), gizzard and potato confit (middle), and carrot salad (bottom).

ほとんど無題

あまり話題のないここ数日なので殆ど写真も撮れてないのです。

I haven’t taken much pictures in the last few days, which hasn’t been talked about much.

こなつは最近、車の乗り降りするときに以前のように軽快に飛び乗ったり飛び降りたりしなくなり、やや躊躇したり位置をじっくり確かめてから降りたりしている。そろそろ年齢の影響が出てきているのだろうか。乗り降りの補助になる板を用意することを考える必要があるかもしれない。

Konatsu has recently stopped jumping and jumping as lightly as before when getting in and out of the car. She hesitates a little and check the position carefully before getting off. Is the influence of the age of being close to 11 years old coming out? It may be necessary to consider preparing a board to assist in getting on and off.

寝顔や寝姿は子犬の頃と変わらないのにね。。。

岐れ路　裏道散歩

鎌倉の中心地から鎌倉宮の方に向かったところに「岐れ路（わかれみち）」という地名があります。

Today is a local topic, so I will omit the translation, but it is a topic of taking a walk in the back streets of Kamakura.

鶴岡八幡宮から徒歩で10分程度ですが、この辺りは観光客が少なく静かな所です。

路地に入るとこんな感じ。あと1ヶ月半ほどでここは桜のトンネルになる。

おそらくガイドブックにも載っていない小さい店が結構あるもんだ。。。

こなつもビビることなく歩きます。

「わんこのおやつ」と書かれているけど何となく這入りづらくて前を素通り。。。

ここは有名な店です。

美味しいドイツパンの店。

その隣にハム・ソーセージのアルトシュタットがあり、両方で買い物すれば美味しい食事が食べられるのでオススメです。

ママの治療が終わるまでの、ほんの30分の散歩でした。

新しいお友達

最近、七里ヶ浜に新顔のワンちゃん（子犬）が来るようになりました。

Recently, a new face dog (puppy) has come to Shichirigahama.

この子、長助クンです。秋田犬とニューファンドランドのミックスだそうで、とても可愛い。

This is Chosuke. It’s a mix of Akita Inu and Newfoundland, so it’s very cute.

こっちの写真だとニューファンドランドの血が濃いようにも思える。

ハウル君と比べてみるとその大きさが良く分かるね。

今日はバレンタインデー

我が家の話をする前に、日本のバレンタイン文化は海外の人たちから見ると不思議な習慣だから、海外からこのサイトにアクセスするに日本のバレンタインを説明しようと思う。

Today is Valentine’s Day. Japanese Valentine’s culture is a strange custom for foreigners, so I will explain Japanese Valentine’s Day to people who access this site from overseas.

My wife prepared Hidemi Sugino’s Prunne. This store is one of Japan’s leading patisseries.

プルーンの中にラム酒の効いたチョコが5個入っています。プルーンはジューシーで、噛み切った後にラム酒の効いた滑らかなチョコが口の中に広がる。とても美味しい！

There is chocolate with rum in the prunes. The prunes are juicy, and after chewing, smooth chocolate with rum spreads in the mouth. very delicious!

There are 2 types of chocolates given on Valentine’s Day : Honmei-choco, Giri-choco.

Honmei-choco、 comes from the words “honmei” meaning favorite and “choco” meaning chocolate. Honmei choco is the chocolates you give to a very special person in your life, such as boyfriend, husband, or close male friend. From time to time, honmei-choco are accompanied by a “love confession”, where a woman askes the recipient to be her boyfriend.

Giri-choco、literally means “obligation chocolate”,　and　as you can probably guess, these chocolates are given to people who you are not romantically involved with , such as collegues, acquaintances, and bosses.

In recent years, new type of Valentine`s Day chocolate has been added: “Tomo-choco” which means chocolate given exclusively to your friends!

今朝は七里ヶ浜へ

最近の私は体のあちこちに問題が起きていて、一言でいえば運動不足が原因のようだ。なので朝の散歩で七里ヶ浜に行ったら仲間たちとお喋りするだけでなく、もっと歩くことを心掛けようと思い始めているのです。

I’ve been having problems all over my body these days, and in a nutshell, it seems to be due to lack of exercise. So when I go to Shichirigahama for a walk in the morning, I’m starting to think about not only talking with my friends but also walking more.

広場に到着したらもう皆さん揃っていて、こなつは珍しくみんなの所に向かって一目散に走り出した。

先ずは昨日の夕方の写真から

Firstly, yesterday evening photo.

うろこ雲でしょうか。帰る途中には雲の向こう側に白い太陽が丸くくっきり見えていたのですが、家に着いたらもう日没でした。

Is it a cirrocumulus? On my way home, I could see the white sun round and clear on the other side of the clouds, but when I got home, it was already sunset.

車をぶつけられ現在修理中なので2週間ほど前からこのレンタカーを使用しています。ちっこくて運転しづらく、早く修理終わってくれー！っていう状態。この車でPETONに来ました。

I have been using this rental car for about 2 weeks since I was hit by a car and it is currently under repair. It’s small and difficult to drive, so please finish the repair as soon as possible! That state. I came to PETON with this car.

毎月11日はワンワンデーで10%offになります。なのでこなつのフードはいつも11日に買いに来るのです。

午後のティータイム＠ル・ミリュー

先日、こなつの散歩でこの店の前を通ったことを書きましたが、今日はお茶しに行ってきました。
The other day, I wrote that I passed in front of this shop for a walk with Konatsu, but today I asked my wife “Do you wanna go have some tea?”　And arrived at the cafe.

建物の脇の階段を上ってテラス席へ

テラス席はワンコOK。今日はお客さんが一人も居ませんでした。

Dogs are allowed here, and there were no customers today.

美味しいケーキでした。紅茶はアールグレイですがややハーブの香りがして普通のと違う感じで、これもなかなか良い。ママは今度はアフタヌーンティーに来たいと言ってます。

It was a delicious cake. Black tea is Earl Gray, and it has a slightly herbal scent and feels different from normal, which is also quite good. My wife wants to come to afternoon tea next time.

もう少し暖かくなったらこのテラス席はもっと気持ち良く過ごせるでしょう。

一週間ぶりに家族が揃い､､､

今日、私は出張から戻り、娘も我が家に戻ってきた。それをいちばん喜んでいるのはこなつ。

パルボワクチン

こなつは今日パルボワクチンの接種に行ってきました。

Konatau got a parvovirus vaccination today.

いつもの西鎌倉動物病院です。

This is Nishikamakura Animal Hospital.

病院が大嫌いなこなつだから着いた時には表情が険しい。

Konatsu hates hospitals, so when she arrived, it looked like a trouble expression.

今日はワクチン接種だけでなく歯石取りもやってもらうのですが、待ってる間こなつは怖くて体が震えています。この後すぐに診療室に入り、待つこと30分。

Today, Konatsu is not only vaccinated but also tartar-removed, but while waiting, Konatsu is scared and trembling. Immediately after this she entered the doctor’s office and I waited 30 minutes.

終わった時にはこんな笑顔で出てきました。最近こなつは食欲旺盛だから体重も量ってもらったら18.5kg。1年前は17.05kg、半年前は17.5kgだったからちょっと増えちゃったね。以前、先生は20kgまではOKと言ってたけどそろそろ気をつけないと。。。

When it was over, she came out with such a smile. Recently, Konatsu has a strong appetite, so he weighed 18.5 kg. It weighed 17.05 kg a year ago and 17.5 kg half a year ago, so it has increased a little. Previously, doctor said that up to 20kg is OK, but it’s time to be careful.

歯石も取れて、こんなにキレイになりました。

The tartar has been removed and it looks so beautiful.

今日から1週間はこの薬で歯肉のケアをします。

かまくら景観百選

家の近所にその一つ「谷戸坂の切通し」があります。

In the neighborhood of my house, there is “Yatosaka – Kiridoshi”, one of the 100 best landscapes in Kamakura.

家から10分ほど歩くと、西鎌倉小学校の先にこの道があり、ここを登って行くと､､､

ここがかまくら景観百選の一つ「谷戸坂の切通し」。その年代は不詳ですが手広村から腰越村へ行く生活道路だったらしい。なかなかの迫力があります。一方、下の写真は､､､

さっき登ってきた道の入り口の所で、現代の切通しとでも言うのでしょうか。この道は大船方面から江ノ島へ遊びに行くときに通る県道で、昭和30年代に自衛隊の協力完成したそうです。最近、崖を補強工事したが、それでも崩れてきそうで怖いですね。

At the entrance of the road I just climbed, is it a modern cut? This road is a prefectural road that you take when you go to Enoshima from the direction of Ofuna, and it seems that the cooperation of the Self-Defense Forces was completed in the 1960’s.

谷戸坂の切通しのもっと奥まで進んでいくと鎌倉古道があり、散歩に最適な静かな場所です。

今日は途中で引き返してきましたが、この道は鎌倉山に繋がっていて2時間コースの散歩が楽しめます。

昨日の散歩コースは鎌倉山

普段の私は車で通勤してるし、こなつ連れて歩く時間も短いし、ママが「長距離コースを歩こう」と誘ってくれたのでそれに乗った。

I usually commute by car and take a short walk with Konatsu, so my wife invited me to walk a long-distance course, so “ Yes! I’m in! ”

こなつは長距離コースは大歓迎

Konatsu also welcomes long-distance courses.

ご近所の皆様は「ああ、この道ね！」とすぐ分かる場所ですが、ここから登っていく。

The climb starts from here, where everyone in the neighborhood can easily understand “Oh, this road!”

こなつは尻尾をブンブン振りながら歩く。

登り始めて15分くらい、だいぶ山頂が近づいてきた。

ようやく頂上付近の平坦な場所に出てきた。

有名な「鎌倉山ローストビーフ」はこの辺りにあります。

拡大してみると、横浜ランドマークタワーです。鎌倉山から直線距離にして約20㎞です。そして反対側を見ると､､､

こっちは見慣れた江ノ島の風景です。

さあ、もうちょっと歩きましょう。

ここは最近人気のパティスリ「ル・ミリュウ」。眺めは良いし、テラス席はワンコも入れるから散歩の途中にお茶するのもいいね。

This is the recently popular patisserie “le milieu”. The view is good, and the terrace seats can be accompanied by dogs, so it’s good to have a cup of tea during the walk.

この日はもうそろそろ暗くなる時間だったので素通りでした。

この階段を降りれば西鎌倉の住宅地、我が家はもうすぐです。

約1時間ちょっとの散歩でした。

久しぶりに七里ヶ浜

久しぶりに七里ヶ浜に行ったので、今日はその話題です。

Konatsu went for a walk to Shichirigahama this morning, so that’s the topic.

昨日の雨が上がったばかりでグラウンドコンディションはあまり宜しくないね。

It just rained yesterday and the ground conditions aren’t very good.

ちょうどアンちゃんと同じ時間に到着し、一緒に歩き始めた。

I arrived at the same time as Anzu and started walking with her.

今朝はハウル君が先に来ていて、こなつはハウル君を見つけたら珍しく自分から「走ろうよ！」と誘っていた。そして､､､

Howl came first this morning, and when Konatsu found Howl, she rarely invited to “Let’s run!”. And …

短い時間だったけど、こなつには良い運動になりました。ハウル君、ありがとう！

It was a short time, but it was a good exercise for Konatsu. Thank you Howl!

なんだか名残惜しそう。。。

Somehow it seems to be regrettable.

そのあとアンちゃんと一緒に居たら、今日で2度目に会うワンちゃんがやってきた。

After that, when I was with Anne, the dog I met for the second time came over today.

この子はフクちゃん。10年前の東日本大震災のときに福島県で保護されたワンコで、元の飼い主さんが見つかるまでの間お預かりするという条件で今の飼い主さんの所に来たけど、結局元の飼い主さんは見つからず、そのまま鎌倉にいるとのこと。現在推定12～13歳で、とても人懐こいワンコです。こなつも仲良くなれそうな感じでした。

This dog is Fuku. A dog protected in Fukushima Prefecture at the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake 10 years ago, this woman came to the current owner on the condition that she will keep it until the original owner is found. ＜番外編＞ 群馬にて

昨日から仕事で群馬に来ています。

I’ve been in Gunma for work since yesterday.

今朝、ホテルを出発しようとしたら車の窓もボディも凍っていた。

When I was about to leave the hotel this morning, the car window and body were frozen.

当然ウォッシャー液も凍っているから水も出ないし、この状態でエンジンをかけ、車が暖まるまで足止めでした。雪国のように車が埋まっているわけでもないし大したことではないのですが、温暖な静岡生まれの私としてはこんな出来事でさえも珍しく思えるのでした。

No wonder, the washer fluid was frozen, so no water came out, so I started the engine in this state and stopped until the car warmed up. It’s not a big deal because the car isn’t buried like the snowy region, but for me, who was born in warm Shizuoka, even such an event seemed unusual.

昨夜はテイクアウトしてみた


再び緊急事態宣言が出されてから、私たちの町でも店内の営業を中止しテイクアウトのみの営業にするレストランが増えてきた。昨夜は、お気に入りのイタリアン「トラットリア・フォセッタ」にテイクアウトの注文をして、家で美味しい料理を頂こうということになった。

Since the state of emergency was declared again, more and more restaurants in our town have closed their stores and are only open for take-out. Last night, I decided to order a takeaway from my favorite Italian “Trattoria Fossetta” and have some delicious food at home.

こなつのオヤツです

ママが時間に余裕があるときには時々手作りのオヤツを作るのです。

When my wife has time, she sometimes makes handmade dog treats.

この日は牛肉のブロックを買ってきて、ビーフジャーキーを作ろうとしているところです。

山下公園にて

今日は横浜元町まで行く用事があって、その待ち時間にこなつと山下公園を歩いてきました。

Today I went to Motomachi, Yokohama and walked around Yamashita Park while waiting for my wife to meet.

今日は天気も良く、気温も10℃くらいあって暖かく感じる。

The weather is fine today and the temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so it feels warm.

この公園の一番端にガンダムファクトリーがある。

殆ど屋台のような店ですが、シルク会館の向かいにある「ザ・ラーメン屋」

食べログで話題の店と書かれていて、それを素直に信じて海老ワンタンメンを注文してみたら。これがなかなか美味しかったです。あっさりスープが私好み。

The tabelog says it’s a hot topic, and when I ordered the shrimp wonton noodles, it was quite delicious. I like the light soup.

テラス席だからこなつも連れて行ってあげればよかったけど、今日は車の中でお留守番でした。

遅まきながら鏡開き

本来は1月11日に行うものですが、松の内が15日の地方では20日にやるようなので、11日やり損ねた我が家としては、まあ今日で良いでしょう。。。という次第です

The photo above is “Kagami mochi”. Kagamimochi is two-round piled up rice cakes. It’s a Japanese tradition to decorate “Kagami mochi” in our house in the new year. At the end of new year, we eat Kagaminochi , which is believed to have the god’s spirit exists to wish good health and happiness of the family.

木槌で餅を割ろうとしても中々うまく割れず、苦労しながらも何とか粉砕。

We break Kagamimochi into small pieces by hitting with a wooden hammer. We say “waru” in Japanese to say “break” but “waru” is also a direful word. Therefore, it became to say “open” instead of “break” for believing in good future.

その間にママは小豆を煮てお汁粉の準備です。

Meanwhile, my wife boiled azuki beans and prepared sweet red bean soup with grilled rice cake .

これでほぼ完成、我が家では二通りの食べ方です。

This is almost complete, and there are two ways to eat it.

お汁粉のような、ぜんざいのような。。。我が家では甘くない味付け

無人の餃子販売店という不思議な店ができた

今朝の散歩のときにアンちゃんパパから、茅ケ崎に無人の餃子販売店が出来たと聞いて早速行ってみた。
I heard that an unmanned chinese dumpling shop was opened in Chigasaki, so I went there immediately.

行く途中、富士山が「頭を雲の上に出し～♪」の姿が見られたので写真を撮ってみたのですが、海の中がサーファーでごった返している事の方がインパクトが大きい！

On the way, I saw Mt. Fuji sticking out above the clouds, so I took a picture. On the other hand, the fact that the sea is crowded with surfers has a bigger impact!

それに加えて他県ナンバーの多いこと。ママと、あ、世田谷だ、多摩だ、富山だ、新潟だ、　うちの前を走るのは品川だ、などと話しているうちに茅ケ崎に着いた。

Many people have come here from afar even though COVID-19 has spread again. It’s terrible. When I was driving with that in mind, I arrived at Kayagasaki.

無人の店舗にしては立派な構えだなあと思いながら中に入ってみると､､､

冷凍の餃子がズラリと並べられている。

という訳で、餃子1パック1,000円＋タレ200円を料金箱に入れてお買物終了。自動販売機かと思ったら、こんな売り方でした。お金を払わずに持って帰る人なんて日本にはいません！とお客を信頼しているシステムですが、このブログに海外からアクセスしてる人達には信じられないだろうね（笑）
I thought it was a vending machine, but it was a system that puts money in a box and takes the product home. So I put 1200 yen in the box and finished shopping. No one in Japan takes it home without paying! It is a system that trusts customers, but can’t you believe it for people who access this blog from overseas?

帰ろうとしたらこんなキッチンカーが目に入り、しかも美味しそうな匂いが流れてくるので、つい立ち寄ってランチパックを買うことにした。

When I was about to go home, I saw a kitchen car like this, and the smell seemed to be delicious, so I decided to stop by and buy a packed lunch.

この写真ではチキンの大きさが伝わらないけど、ケンタの2倍くらいのボリュームたっぷりのチキンです。これで700円、今日のランチはこれになりました。

18個入り×2パックで1,000円、タレが200円。群馬水上温泉の名店らしいけど、今日はまだ食べないので美味しかったら後日ご紹介します。

18 pieces x 2 packs for 1,000 yen, sauce for 200 yen. It seems to be a famous store in Gunma Mizukami Onsen, but I haven’t eaten it yet so I’ll introduce it later if it’s delicious.

今日のこなつは散歩のときに誰にも会えず、つまらなそう。。。
