動物病院からフィラリア検査の案内をいただいたので検査に行って来ました。ついでに2年前から始めた健康診断（主に内蔵機能のチェックなど）も一緒に。

今回も問題ありませんでした。去年から病院で処方されるフィラリアの予防薬がネクスガードになり、ノミ・マダニの駆除にも効果があるのですが、先生が「広町の森で散歩してるワンコがもうマダニを付けてきてるので今月末から薬を飲みましょう。」とのこと。

Since last year, the heartworm preventive drug prescribed at the vets has become Nexguard, and it is also effective in exterminating fleas and ticks, and the vet said, “Tick has already adhered to dogs walking in the forest of Hiromachi. Let’s take medicine from the end of this month. “
こちらは血液検査の結果です。肝臓の状態を表すALTがやや高いけどこの程度なら神経質に気にするほどのことはありませんとのこと。半年前に比べて体重が1kg増えているのでその影響も多少あるようです。先生からは「食事量を減らすのは可哀そうだから、食事の内容をシニア向けのものにすること、運動量をもう少し増やすこと、牛肉の脂肪は肝臓を守る効果があるから肉を与える場合は脂身があるものにすること」とアドバイスをされ、これを実行します。

Compared to half a year ago, Konatsu’s weight has increased by 1 kg, so it seems that there is some effect. The vet said, “It’s a pity to eat less, so make her diet more for seniors, get a little more exercise, and feed her usual dry food with beef because beef fat works to protect the liver, ” so, I’m going to do this.
その他は何も問題はなく健康そのものですと太鼓判を押されました。
