昨日新しい店がオープンした。
A new store opened yesterday in front of the station in our town.
しり餅と書いてあるけどどんな店？何を売ってる？と思いつつ行ってみたら結構お客さんが入っている。
It says “Shiri Mochi”, but what kind of store is it? What are you selling?
売ってるのはお餅と餡子でした。では早速味見をしてみましょう！
They sold rice cakes and various kinds of bean paste. Then I bought it.
お餅の上に餡子が乗っていて、これで600円。搗きたての温かい餅でした。もち米の形が少し残るような搗き方なのかな？ 餡子が美味しい。
There is bean paste on top of the mochi, which costs 600 yen. It was a freshly made warm mochi. The bean paste is delicious.
珍しくこなつは全く興味を示しませんでした。
Konatsu showed no interest at all, which isn’t the usual.
