フー太君とパパさんが届け物をしに来てくれました。

ほんのわずかな時間だったけど、こなつはフー太君が大好きだから思いがけぬ訪問に嬉しそうだ。
It was only a short time, but Konatsu loves Futa, so she looks happy with the unexpected visit.

今は来客も殆ど無いご時世だから、これだけの事でも楽しいね。

今年は桜の開花が早かったから満開になるのも早い。今まさに満開です。

桜を見ながら散歩をしようと思って鎌倉山に向かって歩きます。

鎌倉山の散歩道にも普段の何倍もの見物客が来ていて、こなつにとっては嬉しくない状況だ。
なんとか頑張って歩いてきました。

これは今朝通った逗子ハイランドの桜並木。我が家から近いところではここが一番キレイかもしれない。

この日の夕飯はテイクアウトのお弁当ですが、桜をモチーフにした盛り付けです。

包みを開けると2段重ねのお弁当。器の上に、店の庭に咲いている桜の花が飾られていた。

豚汁も付いて、こんなお弁当でした。写真では表せない美味しさです。

動物病院からフィラリア検査の案内をいただいたので検査に行って来ました。ついでに2年前から始めた健康診断（主に内蔵機能のチェックなど）も一緒に。
I was informed by a veterinary clinic about a heartworm test for Konatsu, so I went to the test with Konatsu. In addition, the health checkup (mainly checking built-in functions, etc.) that started two years ago is also included.
今回も問題ありませんでした。去年から病院で処方されるフィラリアの予防薬がネクスガードになり、ノミ・マダニの駆除にも効果があるのですが、先生が「広町の森で散歩してるワンコがもうマダニを付けてきてるので今月末から薬を飲みましょう。」とのこと。

こちらは血液検査の結果です。肝臓の状態を表すALTがやや高いけどこの程度なら神経質に気にするほどのことはありませんとのこと。半年前に比べて体重が1kg増えているのでその影響も多少あるようです。先生からは「食事量を減らすのは可哀そうだから、食事の内容をシニア向けのものにすること、運動量をもう少し増やすこと、牛肉の脂肪は肝臓を守る効果があるから肉を与える場合は脂身があるものにすること」とアドバイスをされ、これを実行します。

凄い雨でした。朝は何とか七里ヶ浜で散歩が出来たけれど昼頃からは雨風ともに強くなり、夕方になっても一向に止む気配がない。
It was a heavy rain. I took a walk at Shichirigahama in the morning, but the rain and wind became stronger from around noon, and there was no sign of stopping even in the evening.
とても傘を差せるような状態じゃないので、こなつも私もレインコート着て散歩の準備中。
The wind was so strong that I couldn’t put an umbrella on it, so both Konatsu and I were preparing for a walk wearing raincoats.
普段の雨の日はもっと簡易なレインコートだけれど、今日は全身を覆うタイプで歩きます。
It’s a simpler raincoat on rainy days, but today Konatsu walks with a raincoat that covers the whole body.
玄関を開けて外の様子を見ただけで歩く気持ちが萎えてしまいそうだが、こなつは家の外に出ていかないと用を足さない子なので行くしかありません。。。
そして今日は短めに20分ほど歩いて帰ってきました。
Just opening the door and looking at the outside seems to make me feel uncomfortable walking, but Konatsu doesn’t pee unless it’s outside the house, so I have no choice but to go.
And today I came back after just walking for about 20 minutes.

私は蕎麦が大好きです。旅先で美味しい蕎麦屋に行くことが楽しいし、facebookの「蕎麦活を愉しむ会」にも参加していつも情報をチェックしている。信州の松本や軽井沢にはほぼ毎年旅行に行き、その都度どこかの蕎麦屋に食べに行っているのです。なので今回もおこもりですが「例外的に」ということにして蕎麦屋2店に寄ってきました。
As an extra edition, it is a soba travelogue. It’s difficult to explain in English, but Nagano Prefecture, where I traveled this time, is famous for soba noodles. I went to two soba restaurants, so I’m introducing them. The English translation is omitted below.
まずは小諸の草笛総本店
ここは有名店だからご存知の方も多いかもしれませんが、蕎麦の量が多いことでも知られているようです。事前に調べたら蕎麦のサイズが4種類、中盛・多め・普通・少なめ、とあり普通サイズでも400gだそう。なので今回は「少なめ」を注文してみました。
私はくるみ蕎麦を注文、するとそばつゆ入れにペースト状のくるみが入ったのが運ばれてきます。これをそばつゆで溶いて頂きます。
麺はやや細めです。「少なめ」でもこれだけの量があり、他店の大盛りに近いかもしれない。
喉ごしの良い美味しい蕎麦でした。一方こなつママは､､､
これは「藤村そば」です。具材は何が乗っているかというと､､､
置いてある位置が違うけど、こんな内容です。ママも「少なめ」にしました。
これも草笛の名物「くるみおはぎ」1個 230円。出来立ての温かいおはぎが出てくるのですが、これもとても美味しい！
お土産に生そばを買ってきたので、そのうち愉しむつもり。
アンちゃんパパの情報ですが、鎌倉小町の「中村庵」のご主人は「草笛」で修業を積み、鎌倉に行列のできる蕎麦屋を開いたということです。
2軒目は、軽井沢の「東間(とうま)」です。ここは以前にもご紹介したことがありますが
上の写真はテラス席から庭を撮影したのですが、このテラス席はワンコOKです。
テラス席といっても屋根もあるし、ビニールのカーテンで外気を遮ることも出来るから冬でもOKなのです。
私はもりそばと新玉ねぎの天ぷらを注文。草笛よりも味・香りともに田舎蕎麦色が濃い感じでこれもとても美味しい蕎麦です。

これからも出来る限りあちこちの蕎麦を食べたいと思っている私です。
朝は御影用水に沿って散歩しているとワンコ連れに出会うことが多い。
The day 3~4
In the morning, I often meet dogs while taking a walk along the Mikage irrigation water.
この日は前日に行き損ねた飯綱山公園のドッグランに行くことにした。私たちの滞在場所からは10kmほど離れているが、地方の道路だから15分もドライブすれば着いてしまう。
On this day, I decided to go to the dog park in Iizunayama Park, which I missed the day before. It’s about 10km away from our place of stay, but it’s a rural road so I can drive for 15 minutes.
山の上にあって市街地を見下ろすような場所なので、天空のドッグランって感じ？
かなり広くて気持ち良いランです。
It’s a place on the mountain that overlooks the city, so it feels like a dog park in the sky. It’s a fairly large and comfortable place.
ここでお友達になった空くん、ボーダーコリー♂1歳。こなつは煽られ気味だったけど暫くの時間一緒に遊んできました。

この日のメニューでした。この後、バーに移動してもう少しお酒を楽しんだのですが、そこでこんなものを見つけた。

これはちょっと興味ありますよねえ､､､で、ヨーグルト＆ミックスベリーを注文してみた。

ママが味見したけど、ベリーの甘みをちょっと感じる程度でこれなら安心とのこと。
My wife tasted it, and she felt the sweetness of the berries a little, so this is OK!
こなつには美味しかったと見えて一気に飲んでしまいました。
It seemed to be delicious for Konatsu, so she drank it all at once.
私はこっち。地元の「駒ヶ岳（マスル信州蒸留所)」これがスモーキーで非常に美味しい。
マルスウィスキーを調べてみたら、ニッカウィスキーの創業者の故・竹鶴政孝を英国に送り出したのがマルスウィスキーの生みの親の故・岩井喜一郎でした。そのスコットランドでの研究レポートをもとにマルスウィスキーが誕生し、今日に至るそうです。中でも製造終了になった「駒ヶ岳竜胆(りんどう)」は幻のウィスキーと言われ手に入れるのが難しい。昨秋ここで一杯だけ飲むことが出来たのですが、それはそれは旨いものでした。↓
The picture above is what I tasted. Local “Komagatake (Masuru Shinshu Distillery)” This is smoky and very delicious. When I looked into Mars Whiskey, it was Kiichiro Iwai, the creator of Mars Whiskey, who sent Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whiskey, to Scotland. Mars whiskey was born based on the research report in Scotland, and it seems to be today. Among them, “Komagatake Rindo”, which has been discontinued, is said to be a phantom whiskey and is difficult to obtain. I was able to drink only one cup here last fall, which was unbearably delicious.
いい気分にほろ酔いになったところでこの日は就寝。翌朝は早くも最終日です。最終日の行動はいつも必ず「ツルヤ」で新鮮な野菜を車に積めるだけ目一杯買うというのがお決まりのパターン。

関越自動車道の寄居PAで休憩中。ここから自宅までノンストップで戻ってきました。

レジーナリゾート御影用水に到着して一休みするとすぐに夕方の散歩の時間だ。目の前の川沿いは翌朝に歩きたかったので、この日の夕方は小諸にある飯綱山公園へと向かった。
As soon as I arrived at Regina Resort Karuizawa and took a rest, it was time for an evening walk. I wanted to walk along the riverside path in front of me the next morning, so I headed to Iizunayama Park in Komoro this evening.
公園はこんな山の上にあります。
The park is on the top of such a mountain.
公園の入り口には小諸高原美術館があり、興味あったけどこの日は休館日で残念。
There is the Komoro-kogen Museum at the entrance of the park, and I was interested, but I am sorry that this day is closed.
公園の一画には1500年代に築城された富士見城の城跡があります。そしてこの公園にはドッグランもあるということでそれを目的に来たのですが、どうやらドッグランには別の入り口から入らないと辿り着けないらしい。仕方ないので明日出直すことにして、この日はこの辺りを歩くことにした。
One part of the park is the ruins of Fujimi Castle, which was built in the 1500s. And I came here for the purpose because there is a dog park in this park, but it seems that I can not reach the dog run unless I enter from another entrance. I couldn’t help it, so I decided to come back tomorrow and walk around here on this day.
そして、楽しみにしていた夕飯の時間です。

最初にこなつの食事が運ばれてきました。鹿肉サイコロステーキ120gです。

今回は１箇所ではなく箱根１泊・御影用水２泊ですが、できるだけで歩くことは少なめにしながら行ってきました。では先ず初日の箱根です。
This time, we stayed in Hakone for 1 night and Karuizawa for 2 nights instead of one place. Let’s start with Hakone on the first day.
いつもの東急ハーベスト箱根甲子園、ここでは温泉に入ってご飯を食べて寝るだけ、こなつの散歩以外には何処へも出掛けませんでした。
The usual Tokyu Harvest Club Hakone Koshien, where I just went to a hot spring, ate dinner and went to bed, and didn’t go anywhere except for a walk with Konatsu.
夕飯もルームサービスのお弁当にしたので1日目は殆ど部屋で過ごしていました。
We used room service Bento box for dinner, so we spent most of the first day in the room.
２日目は早めにチェックアウトして、芦ノ湖畔の「ﾍﾞｰｶﾘｰ&ﾃｰﾌﾞﾙ箱根」のカフェで朝食にしました。
On the second day, we checked out early and had breakfast at the “Bakery & Table Hakone” cafe on the shores of Lake Ashi.
それほどお腹も空いてなかったのでコーヒーとクロワッサンだけの朝食。10:00になればテラス席がオープンするのでこなつを一緒に連れていけるけど、このときは9:30だったので私たち二人だけでした。
I wasn’t so hungry so I had breakfast with coffee and croissants only. The terrace seats will open at 10:00, so we can take Konatsu with us, but at this time it was 9:30, so we were the only ones.
ここから富士五湖自動車道～中央高速を走り、長坂からは一般道で軽井沢に向かいます。
From here, take the Fuji Five Lakes Expressway-Chuo Expressway, and from Nagasaka, take a general road to Karuizawa.
途中、中央高速の双葉SAで休憩したときにこんなのを発見。
On the way, I found this when we took a break at Futaba SA on the Chuo Expressway.
中で食事もできるので寒い時期の犬連れ旅には有難い。
This is a free rest area where you can bring your pets, and you can eat inside, so it’s great for traveling with dogs in cold weather.
ここは清里を過ぎた辺り。この日は快晴で、八ヶ岳がキレイに見えました。
This is around Kiyosato. It was fine on this day, and the Yatsugatake mountain range looked beautiful.
そして、箱根から休憩含めると約４時間でレジーナリゾート御影用水に到着。

驚いたのは、ここに到着する寸前にこなつが奇声を上げ始めたのです。去年秋に一度来ただけなのに覚えていたのだろうか？ 楽しかった思い出があるのかもしれないが、それにしても凄い記憶力だと感心した。
To my surprise, Konatsu began to scream just before arriving here. Did she remember here when she came only once last fall? Konatsu may have some fun memories, but even so, I was impressed with her great memory.
さあ、ここで2泊のんびり過ごしましょう。

今月はこなつの誕生月で、Dogdeptからプレゼントのはがきが来ていたことを思い出して今日ランチに行ってきた。
I went to Dogdept for lunch today, remembering that this month was the birth month of Konatsu and Konatsu received a gift postcard from Dogdept.
今日は天気も良いし、テラス席の方が感染の心配も少ないね。

誕生日プレゼントはスタッフの手作りクッキーでした。
The birthday present was a homemade cookie from the shop staff.

思いがけず仕事が忙しくなり、なかなか更新することが出来ずにいます。毎朝の七里ヶ浜は欠かさず行っており、こなつはお友達ワンコと会って遊ぶことは出来ていますが、写真が撮れていません。
Unexpectedly, my work is so busy that I can’t update my blog. Even so, I go to Shichirigahama for a walk of Konatsu every morning, and Konatsu can meet and play with her friend dogs. However, I haven’t taken pictures.

たくさん遊んできました。
昨日、動物病院の先生から「昨年末から体調を崩す子が増えていて、特にお腹を壊して下痢してる子が多いけど、こなつちゃんは大丈夫ですか？」と訊かれたが、こなつのお腹は特に丈夫だから何の心配もありません！
Yesterday, a veterinarian asked me, “Since the end of last year, the number of dogs that are sick has increased, and many dogs have diarrhea. Is Konatsu okay?”

最近、夕方はいつもこの3頭で歩いている。こなつも楽しそうに見える。

フータ君はこなつより4歳年上だけど、そんな歳には見えないね。

午前中に動物病院に行ってシャンプー＆カットをしてもらい、すっきりキレイになって帰ってきました。

3月3日はもう一つ、雛祭りの日でもあります。海外の方のために簡単に雛祭りを説明します。
March 3rd is also the day of Hinamatsuri ( Doll’s Festival ). Hinamatsuri is an occasion to pray for young girl’s growth and happiness. Most families with girls display dolls for Doll’s Festival called hina-ningyo (hina-dolls). So even in my house, my wife and I decorate the hina-dolls as shown in the picture we did for our daughter and Konatsu.

七里ヶ浜に集まるワンコの中でもいつの間にか最高齢になってしまった。とは言え、まだまだ元気なこなつです。

今日は月曜日だからか散歩に来たワンコが少なくて、みんな早々に帰って行った。こなつも２０分くらい歩いて散歩終了です。
