保護犬として我が家に来て長い月日がが過ぎ13歳になり、今では無くてはならない家族の一員
数日前に無事に退院してきました。ご心配下さった多くの方々、ありがとうございました。
家に着いた時には予想通りこなつの熱烈歓迎を受け、嬉しさもひとしおでした。これから生活のリズムを取り戻しながら、少しずつブログの更新のペースを上げていこうと思ってます。
I was discharged safely a few days ago. Thank you to many people for their concern. When I got home, I was enthusiastically welcomed by Konatsu as expected, and I was very happy. From now on, I will gradually increase the pace of blog updates while regaining the rhythm of my life.
一昨日、手術は無事終了しました。今は身体の回復具合をチェックしながら退院を待っている状態です。
I’m surprisingly fine, so I’ll report on the progress. This time I was hospitalized for ureteral stone surgery and the surgery was successfully completed 2 days ago. Now I am waiting for discharge while checking my physical recovery.
これが今私がいる病室。全身麻酔は自分で呼吸が出来なくなるから空気を送るチューブを喉に入れるのですが、術後はそれによるダメージが意外と大きく、明け方まで咳が止まらず眠ることが出来ませんでした。なので今回は個室を申込んでおいて良かった。
This is the hospital room where I am now. In general anesthesia, the surgeon puts a tube to send air into my throat because I can’t breathe by myself, but the damage caused by it was unexpectedly large after the operation, and I couldn’t sleep until dawn. So it was good to apply for a private room this time.
部屋にシャワーとトイレもあるので、これが一番安い個室ですが十分快適です。
The room also has a shower and toilet, so this is the cheapest private room but comfortable enough.
さて、術後の私を元気づけようと娘とママがこなつの写真をラインで送ってくれたのでその一部をご紹介します。

その前に、今日私の母親が2回目のワクチン接種に行ってきました。
Today, my mother went to the second Covid-19 vaccination.
会場は「腰越なごやかセンター」。今年93歳、認知症＆要介護の母なのでここへ来るにもこなつママと私とで一騒動だったのですが、何はともあれ家族3人共2回の接種が完了しました。娘は横浜市なのでまだですが､､､
The inoculation venue is “Koshikoshi Nagoyaka Center”. My mother was 93 years old this year, dementia d and she also needs nursing care, so it was hard for me and my wife to bring my mother here, but anyway, the two inoculations for all three family members were completed. Our daughter is in Yokohama, so she hasn’t been vaccinated yet.
昨日、出張から帰ってきたので、朝の散歩で三日ぶりにアンちゃんと会いました。
I came back from a business trip yesterday, so Konatsu met Anne for the first time in three days on a morning walk.
ところで、何が嬉しくないお知らせかというと、私は今週末に入院して手術を受けることになりました。全身麻酔なのでいつの間にか終わっているという事だろうから怖さはありませんが、いろいろ忙しいときに時間を無駄にするし、ブログの更新も出来なくなってしまいます。
順調にいけば月末にはブログの更新は可能になると思います。
By the way, I have an unpleasant news today. Because I will be hospitalized and have surgery this weekend. Since it is general anesthesia, the surgery ends without consciousness. So I’m not afraid, but I’m sorry that I’m busy now, wasting time and not being able to update my blog. If all goes well, I think it will be possible to update the blog at the end of the month.

ここ数日はこれと言って話題はありませんが、こなつは元気にしています。
There haven’t been any interesting topics in the last few days, but Konatsu is fine.
夕方の散歩に出かけたらすぐにマー君に会い一緒に歩いた。
As soon as I went for an evening walk, I met Maron and walked with him.
普段は夕方の散歩はこなつママが行くのだが、この日はママが2回目のワクチン接種をしたので大事を取って代わりに私が歩いたというワケです。
Normally, my wife goes for a walk in the evening, but on this day she got the second Covid-19 vaccination, so I took care of it and walked instead.
途中でシバちゃんも合流し、いつもの仲良し3頭の散歩になった。
Shiva joined us on the way, and it became the usual walk of three good friends.
そして今朝

黒柴の白玉君。ずっとカメラ目線をしてくれるので飼い主さんに訊いたら「いつもそうなんです。」とのこと。とてもカワイイ白玉君でした。。

今朝は家を出るのが遅くなり、七里ヶ浜の広場に着いたらワンコが沢山来ていた。
It was late to leave the house this morning, and when I arrived at the Shichirigahama park, many dogs were coming.

まずはいつものように七里の広場から
As always, start with a walk in the Shichirigahama park.
アンちゃんとご挨拶をした後、海まで歩いて行った。
After greeting Anne, Konatsu and I walked to the beach.
曇っていたので気温がそれほど上がらず、散歩するにはちょうど良い天気でした。
It was cloudy so the temperature didn’t rise so much and it was just right for a walk.
相変わらず水が嫌いなこなつだから、波が押し寄せてくると慌てて逃げるの繰り返し。
Konatsu still hates water, so when the waves come in, she hurriedly ran away.
7時前ですが道路はもう渋滞しています。
It’s before 7 o’clock, but the road is already congested.
少しの間にも次々とワンコが歩いてきます。

未だに各地で予約が取れない状況が続いている。実際には現時点でも十分な量のワクチンが用意できず、予約を中断しているというのが正しいのだろう。そんな中、申し訳ない気もしますが私は医療従事者枠で本日2回目の接種を終えました。
I received my 2nd shot of the Covid-19 vaccine today.
ニュースを見ていると「1回目より2回目の方が接種後に熱が出るとか、倦怠感が大きい」と言われていることが多いので少し心配していました。しかし接種して約6時間が経過した現在でも全く副作用が出る感じはなく、これなら明日の仕事にも影響は無さそう。
Looking at the news, I was a little worried because it was said that “many people feel that the second dose has a fever after the inoculation or that they feel more tired than the first dose.” However, even now, about 6 hours after the inoculation, I don’t feel any side effects, and this will not affect my work tomorrow.

In Japan, 8.21% of people have completed the first shot.
更には2回の接種が終了した人に至っては2.85%でしかない。こんなんでオリンピックなんてやってる場合じゃないだろう！
Furthermore, only 2.85% of people have completed the second shot. We wouldn’t have to do the Olympics in this situation!

我々3人とも「b」にしましたが、それぞれメインは違い、どれも美味しかったので全部アップしちゃいます。
All three of us chose “b”, but we chose different appetizers and main dishes. All of them were delicious so I will upload them all. However, it is difficult to translate the details of cuisine, so imagine it from the photos.

こなつは初めのうちは身体をブルブル震わせて怖がっていたのですが、そのうちドアの陰に逃げ込んでしまいました。「怖いよぉ～」
At first, Konatsu was afraid of shaking her body, but eventually she escaped behind the door. “I’m scared !”
このご時世ですから旅行というのも憚られますが、我が家の備忘録として書いているという風に受け止めて頂けたら、ということで。。。
My family went on a trip to Karuizawa from Sunday.
家を出てすぐの江ノ島駅前。初夏の雰囲気でもあり、けっこう賑わっている。ここから圏央道～関越自動車道を走って軽井沢に向かいます。
In front of Enoshima station just after leaving the house. It was also an early summer atmosphere, and there were many people. From here, take the Ken-O Expressway to the Kan-Etsu Expressway to Karuizawa.
途中、上里SAのスタバで休憩中。
On the way, we were taking a break at Starbucks in Kamisato SA.
今回は東急ハーヴェストクラブ軽井沢に二泊します。
This time we will stay at Tokyu Harvest Club Karuizawa for two nights.
チェックインして一休みしたら夕飯の時間。
After checking in and taking a rest, it’s time for dinner.
ここはピレネーという肉料理のレストラン。写真右端にテラス席があり、ワンコも一緒に食事することが出来ます。
This is a meat restaurant “Pyrenees”. There is a terrace seat on the right end of the photo, and you can eat with your dog.
こなつはテーブルの下に潜り込んで辺りの様子を窺っています。

これがメインの骨付き熟成牛肉
This is the main dish of matured beef with bone.
ボリュームたっぷりですがとても美味しかった。 ワンコ用のメニューも肉料理です。
It was full of volume, but it was very delicious. The menu for dogs is also meat dishes.
こなつには美味しかったらしく、あっという間に完食した。
It seems that this was delicious for Konatsu, and she ate it in no time.
