先々週、関越自動車道を走っている時のこと。飛んできた小石がフロントガラスに当たり「パン！」という音がした。その時には別段気にもならなかったのだが、翌朝車を見たら、、、
直径1cmくらいの丸いキズがあり、そこから小さなひび割れが伸びているのも見える。暫くはひび割れ防止のシールを貼って様子を見ることにしたのだが、、、
昨日仕事で暑い場所に駐車しておいて、戻ってきたら一気にヒビが大きくなっていた。多分高温でガラスが膨張して傷の所に力がかかったのだろうと思う。
シールの効果も無く、両方向に大きくひび割れが伸びている。

さっそくディーラーに修理を依頼したけど、運が悪いとしか言いようがない。

フロントガラスは合わせガラスという工法で出来ているので、バリっと割れて剥がれ落ちるようなことは無いそうだ。だから修理までは格好悪いけどこのまま走ることにした。
