今朝の散歩のとき、いつものように七里ヶ浜の広場を歩いていると
When I was taking a walk in the Shichirigahama square as usual this morning.
こなつがこの囲いに向かってグイグイ引っ張って歩いて行った。何だろう？と思ったら中に野良猫の姿を発見。猫はすぐに逃げて行ったがこなつは諦めきれず匂いを嗅いで探そうとしている。
Konatsu pulled and walked toward this enclosure. What is it? When I thought about it, I found a stray cat inside. The cat ran away immediately, but Konatsu couldn’t give up and was trying to find it by smelling it.
匂いを辿って歩いて行くと、、、
Konatsu walked along the smell …
茂みの奥にさっきのニャンコがいた！
There was a cat in the back of the bush!
こなつはニャンコが好きというより獲物として見ているのだろうが、しばらくお互いに身動きせず睨み合い、、、
Konatsu may be seen as a prey rather than a cat, glaring at each other for a while …
やがてニャンコは去って行き、睨み合いは終了。これでこなつのスイッチが入ってしまったようで、メインの広場に戻ったら珍しくみんなと交わり始めた。
After a while, the cat left and the glaring was over. It seems that Konatsu has been switched on, and when she returned to the main square, she rarely started playing with everyone.
おっと、勢いよく来られるとビビっちゃうね（笑）
