保護犬として我が家に来て長い月日がが過ぎ13歳になり、今では無くてはならない家族の一員
こなつは今日3回目の散歩に行っている。
玄関にはママがクリスマスの飾り付けをして、それらしい雰囲気になっている。外から話し声が聞こえてきてこなつが帰ってきたのが分かり､､､
ドアを開けると、こなつが何だか嬉しそうな顔をしているなと思ったら
HANAちゃんと一緒だった。HANAちゃん、うちの玄関まで来てくれた。
HANAちゃんも光る首輪をしていて、こなつとは色違いだけどお揃いみたいなもの。
しばらく玄関で戯れて､､､
じゃあまたね～！と帰って行った。
今日は嬉しいのか楽しいのか、ずっとこんな顔してる。
ずっとこういう顔してると若さが蘇ったように見えて嬉しくなる！
こなつのお友達で、旅行にも一緒に行く仲良しワンコのアンズちゃんが今日、10歳の誕生日でした。おめでとうございます！
こなつの方がずっと年上という感じがしていたので、もう10歳！というのが意外に思えます。
お祝いの様子がLINEで送られてきたので少しだけご紹介します。
バースデーケーキは今日は半分だけ食べさせてもらえたそうです、ダイエットかな？(笑)
また近いうちに一緒に旅行に行く計画もあるので楽しみだね！
こなつが朝の散歩に七里ヶ浜の広場に通うようになって12年、その間に数多くのワンコと知り合い、仲良くなったが、最近は世代交代が進み最初の頃のお友達はほんの僅かになってしまった。その貴重な仲間の1頭のポンちゃん、最近は散歩コースも時間も変わっていたらしく随分久しぶりに会えた。
柴犬10歳オスのポンちゃん、正式名は ポンタ・デル・ソル
太陽のポンタという意味らしい、凄いね！
こなつはポンちゃんのことは覚えているようで近寄って行って鼻をくっつけたりお互いに匂いを嗅いだりしてた。だけど飼い主さんは忘れてしまったらしく手を出されても逃げたり、オヤツも食べようとしなかった。ポンちゃんは顔の辺りが少し白くなってきたかな。
こうして再会できるとこっちまで嬉しくなってくる。お互いまだまだ元気で頑張ろう、そしてまた会いましょう！
鎌倉市は犬に優しくなくて、ほとんどの公園に犬を連れてくるのは禁止になっている。それについてはいろいろ言いたいことはあるが別の機会にするとして、数少ないワンコOKの公園の一つの鎌倉中央公園にこなつを連れて行ってきた。
そしてこの駐車場、これも事前に電話予約しないと停められない。ヘンな話だ。
とブツブツ言いながら歩く。
こなつは優しい表情とか可愛い顔とか言ってもらえることが多いけど、この写真のようにたまに年老いた顔に写ってしまうことがある。13歳後半だから仕方ないことではあるけどこれが現実というもの。極力写りの良い写真をアップするけどね。
しばらく歩いていたらこんなのを見つけた。以前には無かったけど、園内の何ヶ所かにあるみたいだ。バーコードリーダーで読み込んでみたらクイズになっていて､､､
そんなこと気にしたことも無かったけど､､､ リンドウを選んでみたら
これが正解！
今日はこのあと予定があり、上の案内図の現在地から池の周囲を歩いただけで終了。
そして次の予定というのが､､､
今年の春頃に今泉台にオープンした魚屋「マルカマ」
今まで懇意にしていた近所の魚屋がご主人高齢のため店じまいしてしまったので、その後あちこち探し回っているが、まだコレ！という店がない。そこでここに来てみたというワケ。
この他にも刺身や、日によって魚の酢〆や、魚介類の総菜も豊富でかなりレベルが高い。
また、LINE登録すると毎日入荷した魚の情報が送られてくるシステムになっている。
あれこれ沢山買い込んできたので、その様子はまた後日に。
普段の夕方の散歩は大体ママが近所のお友達2～3人で歩いているのだが、今日は私が散歩に行ったら近所のパパたちと一緒になって、偶然だけど男性チームの散歩になった。
夕方の気温は8月中頃のような高温ではなくなったが、それでもまだまだ暑い。こなつの顔も険しい。
歩き始めて30分くらい経った頃、反対方向からHANAちゃんが歩いてきた。それまで誰にも会わなかったからこなつは嬉しそうだ。
HANAちゃんと一緒に歩き始めたら今度はすぐにマー君に会った。
この3頭は小さい頃からよく遊んだ間柄なので、恐らくお互いにそういう意識があるんだろうけどそれなりに仲良く一緒に歩ける。
この子は白ラブのひまりちゃん。ひまりちゃんは人間には懐っこいのだがワンコが苦手。子犬の頃ほどじゃなさそうだけど、やっぱりこなつ達は近寄れなかった。
約1時間歩いて家に戻ってきたところ。出かけたときよりも何だか嬉しそうな顔だね。
今日はきれいな夕焼けだ。明日から仕事で群馬に出張、こっちより暑そうなのが心配｡｡｡
さあ、お散歩に行こうね！と家を出ていく。
最近は夕方6時を過ぎて影がこのくらい長くなる時間に出かけていく。そうじゃないと暑くて堪らないからね。
龍口明神社の横を通って､､､
奥の公園に着いたけど、ここは雑草が伸び放題だ。他の地域の公園は草刈りしてキレイさっぱりしてるのに市の公園課はどうしたんだろう？これでは人も入れないね｡｡｡
公園を素通りして更に進んで行ったらレイ君に会った。彼とは相性が悪いみたいで近づくとウーウー唸られてしまうんだけど、この日は案外大丈夫だった。
ここまで近づくことが出来たからね。
そのまま進んで行くと、向こうから甲斐犬のシンゲン君が歩いてきた。
シンゲン君とこなつは仲良し。二人して見ている先には､､､
ミニチュアダックだ。吠えていたから飼い主さんは我々には近寄らせなかったみたい。
そこにマー君登場。
マー君も毛がフサフサモコモコだから暑いだろうねえ。
ここでしばらくお喋りをして、それぞれ家に帰って行った。
帰り道、うっすら富士山が見えていた。いつもはもっとクッキリ見えるのにね。
家に戻ると冷たい氷水を用意。大きい器だけど半分くらいはガブ飲みする。
お腹も空いてるんですけど、と言ってるのかな？
暑い一日が終わってゆく。
今朝、いつものように七里ヶ浜まで散歩に行って帰ってきたところでマー君とベリーちゃんに会えた。七里には誰も居なかったから、ここでみんなに会えてこなつは嬉しい！

このときは7時ちょっと前、真夏はこの時間でも暑くてたまらないけど今はまだそれほど暑くもなくさわやかな朝のひとときだ。
みんな揃って記念撮影。最近こういう写真が撮れてなかったからちょうど良かった。
母が亡くなったドタバタからもう1週間過ぎたが、年金やら保険証やら更には戸籍だのなんだの結構やることが沢山あって、今日も午前中は役所や銀行を廻ってきた。戻ってきたらママが出かけていてこなつは玄関でママの帰りを待って忠犬している様子。
こんな風に待っていて、私が呼んでもここから動こうとしない。健気だねえ､､､
ちょうどこのときママが帰ってきて、こなつはスリッパも荷物も蹴散らして熱烈歓迎。

ようやく普段の生活に戻りつつある。
こなつの仲良しのお友達のマー君が今月6日で6歳になった。
Konatsu’s good friend Maron turned six years old on the 6th of this month.
上の写真は6年前のマー君だ。マー君はゴールデン・レトニエルという犬種でゴールデンレトリバーとコッカスパニエルのミックスなのです。
The photo above shows Maron, who just came to his current home six years ago. He is a mix of a golden retriever and a cocker spaniel.
上の2枚は5年前。この頃はこなつも若かったからマー君と走り回っていた。

クリスマスイヴは静かに過ぎていき、クリスマス当日を迎えた。今日の昼頃にHANAちゃんがプレゼントを届けに来てくれました。
Christmas Eve passed quietly and Christmas Day arrived. Around noon today, HANA-chan came to deliver a gift.

先週、今週と2週連続で週末に台風に襲われ悪天候だったが今日ようやく雨が上がった。静岡県は大変な被害だったようだが私の知り合いが大勢いるので心配しています。
Last week and this week we were hit by a typhoon on two consecutive weekends, and the weather was bad, but today the rain finally stopped. Shizuoka Prefecture seems to have been severely damaged, and I am worried because I know a lot of people there.
そんな土曜日の夕方、こなつの散歩に出かけたらすぐにHANAちゃんに会った。こなつとHANAちゃんは仲良しなので一緒に散歩することになり､､､
On Saturday evening, I went out to walk Konatsu and immediately met HANA, a Shiba dog. Konatsu and HANA are good friends, so we decided to walk together.
こなつとHANAちゃんは年が近く、若い頃は会うと転げまわって遊んだけれど今はもうそういう遊びは出来なくなったね。
Konatsu and HANA are close in age, and when they were younger they used to play with each other when they met, but now they can no longer play like that.
しばらく歩いていると今度はバーニーズのアンジュちゃんがやってきた。
After walking for a while, this time Ange, a Bernese mountain dog, came along.
まだ子犬のアンジュちゃんだが体重はもう26kgになったそうで、あっという間にこなつより大きくなっちゃいました。でもまだ子犬らしい可愛い顔だね。
Ange is still a puppy, but she is now weighing 26kg and has grown up to be bigger than Konatsu in no time. But she still has a cute puppy-like face.
HANAちゃんも年齢を感じさせないし、とても若く見える。
HANA doesn’t look her age either, she looks very young.
この後そのまま買い物に行ったので今日は沢山歩いた。
We went shopping afterwards, so we walked a lot today.
スーパーマーケットの前でママが買い物終わるのを待っている。

9月です。朝の散歩はいつも通りに5:30過ぎに家を出ますが、夏に比べて辺りが暗くなった。
September. Konatsu’s morning walk leaves the house after 5:30 a.m. as usual, but the area is darker than in summer.
気温は随分下がり朝晩は涼しく感じられるから散歩にはちょうどいいね。
Temperatures have dropped a lot and the mornings and evenings feel cooler, so it’s perfect for a walk.
今日は土曜日ですが、湘南海岸は真夏の朝のような混雑は見られなくなったかな。
Today is Saturday, but I guess Shonan Beach is no longer as crowded as it was on a midsummer morning.
広場に到着。
Arrived at the park.
昨日の雨であちこちに水溜まりが出来ている。昨日の午前中は湘南方面は凄い雷雨だったらしいのですが、仕事場にいた私にママからラインが入り、「カミナリの音が怖いこなつは家の中を逃げ回り、座布団の上でビビリションして4枚も濡らしてしまった！」という事だった。子犬の頃は雷も花火の音も平気だったのにいつの頃からか苦手になってしまった。
Yesterday’s rain created puddles of water here and there. I heard that there was a great thunderstorm in the Shonan area yesterday morning, and my wife e-mailed me at work and said, “Konatsu, who is afraid of the sound of thunder, ran around the house, and had an accident on the cushions, and got four cushions wet!” That’s what happened. When she was a puppy, she was fine with the sound of thunder and fireworks, but since she became an adult dog, she has become a terror.
アンズちゃんに会った。
We met Anne.
そこへハウル君も登場。昨日のカミナリの話を訊くと、アンちゃんは全然平気だけどハウル君は苦手なんだって。ワンコによっていろいろだね。
Then Howl appeared on the scene. When I asked his owner about yesterday’s thunderstorm, he told me that Howl was not good at it either. Anne’s owner told me that Anne was totally fine with it. It depends on the dog.
普段こなつは自分からはワンコの集団の中に入って行こうとしないけど、今朝はみんなが集まってきてくれたからこんな写真が撮れた。それでもこなつは遠巻きに見ていて積極的に遊ぼうとはしない。
Konatsu usually doesn’t try to join a group of dogs on her own, but this morning everyone gathered around so I was able to take this picture. Even so, Konatsu was watching from afar and not actively trying to play with them.

このあとお決まりのコースを1周歩いて散歩終了です。
After this, we walked a lap around our usual course to finish the walk.
足を拭いてるアンちゃんにサヨナラして、こなつも家に帰ります。
We said good-bye to Anne wiping her feet, and Konatsu went home.
しばらく七里ヶ浜の様子を書いてなかったので今朝はカメラを持って行ってみました。最近は暑くなったので皆さん散歩に来る時間が早くなり､､､

5時半過ぎに着いた時には散歩は終わりかけていた。
The walk was almost over when I arrived shortly after 5:30.
こなつはみんなと交わって遊ぶことはしないので遠くからその様子を眺めているだけ。数年前までのこなつはみんなと走り回るのが大好きだったけど、やっぱり歳のせいなのかな。最近はいろんな場面でこなつの衰えが見え隠れするようになり心配ではあるが、今のような時間がゆっくり流れていって欲しいし、この先もまだ沢山の思い出を作りたいからね。
Konatsu does not play with everyone and just watches from afar. Until a few years ago, Konatsu loved to run around with everyone, but I wonder if it is because she is getting older. Recently, Konatsu’s decline has become apparent in various situations, and I am concerned, but I hope that time will continue to pass slowly as it has in the past, and that we will still have many more memories to make in the future.

ここ1～2年の間に仲良くしてくれたお友達の写真を集めて「キミとボク2022編」を作ってみました。昔作った「キミとボク」と比べると随分メンバーが変わったと感じます。また、仲良しだけど写真が無くてここに登場しなかったワンコもいるけど、ゴメンネ！
I made “Kimi to Boku 2022” (meaning you and me) by collecting photos of friends who have become good friends with Konatsu over the past year or two. I feel that the members have changed a lot compared to the “Kimi to Boku” I made in the past. Also, there are some dogs who are good friends of her but did not appear here due to lack of photos, sorry!

今回登場した中でこなつより年上はルナちゃんだけ。以前の「キミとボク」ではこなつはお兄さんお姉さんにジャレてる感じが多かったけど、年月の経過を感じます。
Luna is the only one who is older than Konatsu. In the previous “Kimi to Boku” episode, Konatsu was often joking around with her older brothers and sisters, but I can feel the passage of time.
こういう姿は子犬の頃と変わらないけどね。
Konatsu’s gestures like this are the same as when she was a puppy.
我が町ではワンコの世代交代が進み、こなつは長老の部類に入っている。最近見かけるのは小型犬が増えたように思うが今日は大型犬の子犬たちに会うことができた。
In our town, the generation of dogs is changing, and Konatsu is one of the eldest. I think I’ve seen more small dogs recently, but today I was able to meet some puppies of large dogs.

GWが間近になった平日なら観光地も空いてるんじゃないかと箱根に行ってきました。今回はアンズ家と一緒ですが現地集合なので、行く途中平塚でランチです。
We went to Hakone, thinking that the sightseeing spots would be free on a weekday as the Golden Week holidays were approaching. This time, we went with Anne and her family, but we were meeting locally, so we had lunch in Hiratsuka on the way there.

月曜日なら空いてるだろうと思いきや、名前を書いて順番待ち。
I thought it would be empty on a Monday, but I wrote down my name and waited my turn.
美味しそうなメニューが沢山あったけど、海鮮丼を注文。これで￥1,480、写ってないけど味噌汁、お新香も付いている。 そしてここから箱根まではほぼ1時間。
There were many delicious-looking dishes on the menu, and we ordered a bowl of kaisen-don (rice topped with seafood). It was ￥1,480 and included miso soup and oshinko (pickles), which are not shown in the picture. And it takes almost an hour to get to Hakone from here.
いつもと同じく東急ハーベスト箱根甲子園のペットルームに宿泊です。今回ここに来た目的は「太原」の美味しい中華料理を食べること、しかも4人なら多くの種類を注文出来て楽しいですからね。部屋で一休みしてると太原のマイクロバスがお迎えに来てくれます。
As usual, we stayed in a pet room at Tokyu Harvest Club Hakone Koshien. The purpose of coming here this time was to eat delicious Chinese food at “Taigen,” and with four people, we could order many kinds of food, which is fun. While we were taking a rest in the room, Taigen’s microbus came to pick us up.
この日はあいにくの雨模様でしたが店内はほぼ満席。さっそく次々と注文し
Unfortunately, it was raining that day, but the restaurant was almost full. We quickly placed our orders one after another.
ビールで乾杯していると続々と料理が運ばれてくる。先ずは胡麻豆腐とトマトの冷菜。
After toasting with beer, dishes were brought out one after another. The first dish was cold greens with sesame tofu and tomatoes.
ここに来たら外せない雲白肉（ウンパイルー）。見た目も楽しいし味も最高！
You can’t miss the unbai meat (un pai lu) when you come here. It’s as fun to look at as it is to taste!
酢豚、黒酢の味と香りがとてもいい。
Vinegared pork（stir-fried sour pork and vegetables）, black vinegar taste and aroma is very good.
会話も弾み食事も進む。でもこんなのまだほんの序の口。
Conversation is lively and the meal progresses. But this is just the beginning.
ビールの次は紹興酒へとお酒も進み､､､
After the beer, the Shaoxing rice wine goes on and on…
麻婆豆腐。辛すぎず、コクもあって他店ではなかなかお目にかかれない味です。
Bean-curd soup seasoned with red bean paste. It is not too spicy and has a rich flavor that is hard to find in other restaurants.

The well-known spring rolls, which are deep-fried meat and vegetables in a wrap.
レバニラ炒め、これで6品目ですがまだまだ終わりません。
stir-fried liver and garlic chives. This is the sixth dish, but it is not over yet.
これは光麺、具が何もなく小皿に香菜が添えられているだけの麺。それを4人で分けた。
This is light noodles, just noodles with no garnish, just a small plate of aromatic greens. One portion was divided among four people.

〆のチャーハン。ご飯がパラパラになっていて素晴らしく美味しいチャーハンでした。
Fried rice to finish. The rice was wonderfully crispy and wonderfully tasty fried rice.
ここからはデザートで、これは白玉団子。最後に杏仁豆腐を食べたのですが写真を撮り忘れてしまいました。全部で11品も食べたのですが、写真でも分かる通りどれも4人でシェアしてるから満腹ではあるが食べ過ぎと言うほどではないのです。
From here on, it’s dessert, and this is a white bean dumpling. Lastly, I had apricot bean curd, but I forgot to take a picture of it. We had 11 dishes in total, but as you can see from the pictures, all of them were shared by 4 people, so we were full, but not so much that we ate too much.
奥さま達も満足そうな笑顔なのだ。
The wives are all smiles of satisfaction.
翌朝、ようやく雨が上がり、辺り一面霧がかかっている中をこなつと散歩。
The next morning, the rain finally stopped, and I took a walk with Konatsu in the foggy weather.
ママがパンとサラダの軽い朝食を用意してくれたので、4人とワンコ2頭がゆっくりと昨夜の余韻に浸りながらの時間を過ごしたのでした。ここからはこなつとアンズちゃんの楽しそうな様子をご覧ください。
My wife prepared a light breakfast of bread and salad, so the four of us and our two dogs took our time to relax and enjoy the afterglow of last night. Below you can see Konatsu and Anne enjoying themselves.
こなつが元気なうちに出来る限りあちこち旅行に行きたいと思っています。
I would like to travel here and there as much as possible while Konatsu is healthy.
朝はお友達ワンコ達の散歩の時間がだんだん早くなってきたので、私もいつもより少し早起きして七里ヶ浜に向かった。
In the morning, dogs were getting earlier and earlier in their walks, so I got up a little earlier than usual and headed for Shichirigahama.
鎌倉高校前の踏切。ここは有名な撮影スポットですが、もう既にこんな時間から撮影に来てる人達が何人かいた。

春霞なのか、いつもならクッキリ見える富士山がうっすらとしか見えない。右側の岬の上の所が富士山だけど、ほとんど見えませんよね。
Fuji, which is usually clearly visible, is only faintly visible due to the spring haze. Fuji at the top of the cape on the right, but you can hardly see it.
ご近所の犬仲間のHANAちゃんパパがワンコ達の顔が入ったクッキーを作ってきてくれました。これが何とも言えず可愛らしくてみんな大喜びでした。
The owner of HANA, a neighborhood dog friend, made cookies with the faces of the dogs on them. They were indescribably cute and everyone was so happy.
今回作ってくださったのは、こなつ・マー君・シバちゃん・故フータ君の4頭です。

こなつのはフィルムがくっ付いて失敗しちゃったとの事ですが、雰囲気出てますね！
I heard that when he made Konatsu’s, the film stuck to it and he made a mistake, but it gives off a great vibe!
マー君は笑うとこういう顔になる。とってもよく似てます。
Maron looks like this when he smiles. It looks very much alike.
シバちゃん今は義眼なのですが、この写真は5年前のもの。
Shiba has prosthetic eyes now, this photo was taken five years ago.
今は亡きフー太君なので頭に天使の輪が､､､
He’s the late Futa, so he has an angel ring on his head…

こなつは昨日動物病院に行ってシャンプーカットと歯石取りをしてきました。家に帰ってきたらこなつの身体からシャンプーの良い匂いが漂っていて、こなつも気持ち良いだろうな。
Konatsu went to the veterinary clinic yesterday for a shampoo cut and tartar removal. When I got home, I could smell the good smell of shampoo on Konatsu’s body, and I’m sure she feels great.
歯石はいつも無麻酔でやってもらうのですが、今回は4ヶ月ぶりくらいだったので「麻酔が必要なくらい歯石が沢山付着していたけど、超音波スケーラーでもこなつちゃんが大人しくしててくれたので無麻酔でできました。」と先生の弁。やれやれ、良かった良かった。

I always have Konatsu’s tartar removal done without anesthesia, but this time, since it had been about four months, the doctor said, “There was so much tartar on her teeth that she needed anesthesia, but she was able to do it without anesthesia because she was so quiet even with the ultrasonic scaler. The doctor said. Oh well, I’m glad.
※The black part at the root of the tooth is the discoloration of the gum. It was not left behind.
昨夕はHANAちゃんと一緒にお散歩。
Last evening, Konatsu went for a walk with HANA.
オートで撮影していたので暗くなってからはピンボケの写真ばかりになってしまいました。
I was shooting on auto, so after it got dark, all I got were out-of-focus photos.
HANAちゃんと知り合ってもう10年くらい経つ。先日、HANAちゃんの昔の画像をCDにコピーしてお渡ししたばかりだったので、昔話などしながら30分ほど一緒に歩いた。
It’s been about ten years since I got to know HANA. The other day, I had just made a copy of HANA’s old pictures on a CD and gave it to her owner, so we walked together for about half an hour while talking about the old days.
上の写真は2013年のこなつとHANAちゃん。2頭ともスリムだった。左端はアッ君。

今は姐御の貫禄(笑)
そして今朝、5時過ぎにこなつが私を起こしに来た。普段はそんなことないのに今朝は何故か「早く散歩に連れてって」という雰囲気だった。
Now she has the dignity of a Miss (lol).
And this morning, Konatsu came to wake me up at a little past five o’clock. She usually doesn’t do that, but for some reason this morning she was in a “take me for a walk early” mood.
七里ヶ浜の広場。いつもならアンちゃんの方が先に来ているのだが、今朝はこなつが早く着き過ぎたのでこなつが帰る時にアンちゃんが登場でした。このあと江ノ島の方まで行ってみようと思い立ち､､､
At Shichirigahama park. Usually Anne is the first to arrive, but this morning Konatsu arrived too early, so Anne appeared just as Konatsu was leaving. After this, we decided to go to Enoshima…
橋を渡る頃に陽が上り始めた。
The sun began to rise as we crossed the bridge.
このあと片瀬漁港をもう一度散歩です。
After this, we went for another walk at Katase Fishing Port.
直売所はまだ開いてませんでした。
The market was not open yet.
たまには早朝の江ノ島散歩もいいものです。
It’s nice to take an early morning walk once in a while.
今朝の七里ヶ浜です。バーニーズのミオ君とルフナちゃんと一緒になった。
This is Nanarigahama this morning. Konatsu is with Mio and Ruhuna. Konatsu is with Mio and Ruhuna. They are Bernese Mountain Dog.
右がミオ君、左がルフナちゃん。
Mio is on the right and Ruhuna is on the left.
大きい子が並ぶとさすがに迫力がある。
When big dogs are lined up, it is really powerful.
頑張って近づいてみるけれどこれが精いっぱい。
Konatsu try her best to get closer to Mio, but this is all she can do.
こんな風に近寄ってこられるとビビッちゃいます。やっぱり昔のアッ君はこなつにとって特別な存在だったと思えてくる。
Konatsu flinched when Mio get closer like this. After all, it seems that Alex was special to Konatsu.

同じく、アッ君＆ベルンちゃんと。今ではこんなに仲良しのバーニーズはいなくなりました。
Similarly, with Alex & Bern. Now there are no more Barneys to get along with.

When Konatsu found someone over there and approached him …
甲斐犬の信玄君だった。今、4歳か5歳くらいだったかな。
It was Shingen, a Kai Ken. He is about 4 or 5 years old now. Kai Ken is a Japanese dog. It is said that he is faithful to his owner and does not bark in vain.

家に戻った時には日没直後、キレイだね。そして、その翌々日の今朝はとても寒い。
When I got home, it was beautiful right after sunset. And it was very cold this morning the day after that.
朝の散歩からもどったこなつは毛布の上が気持ちいいようで、ここから動こうとしない。
Konatsu, who returned from the morning walk, seems to feel comfortable on the blanket and does not move from here.
歳を取って寒さに弱くなってきたのだろうか｡｡｡ それともここの居心地が良いだけのこと？
I wonder if Konatsu has become vulnerable to the cold as she gets older .. Or is it just a cozy place here?
